Our Pine essential oil comes directly from one of the oldest tree species that is considered a symbol of wisdom and longevity. Pine needle is said to increase alertness and productivity when diffused. It can promote mood-boosting and mind-stimulating qualities that help support working from home and running a household at the same time. It has a strong, clean balsamic aroma that is well complemented when mixed with geranium, lemon or lime.

Pine oils are reported to be a great support for colds, coughs or blocked sinuses. We frequently mix pine with our Decongest blend to add an extra level of support.

Pine needle has hypertensive properties so should be avoided by those suffering with high blood pressure. It may be irritating to the skin and mucous membranes so use in low dilutions.
