Grapeseed (Vitis Vinifera)  is a good source of vitamin E, even more so than olive oil. Vitamin E is a vitamin that works as a fat-soluble antioxidant, which helps protect your cells from damaging free radicals that have been associated with cancer, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses. Grapeseed has healing properties with a neutral scent making it a very useful carrier oil.

What Are Carrier Oils?
Carrier oil, also known as base oil or vegetable oil, is used to dilute essential oils and absolute before they are applied to the skin in massage and aromatherapy. They carry the essential oil into the skin. They do not contain a concentrated aroma, unlike essential oils.
