Terre d’Hermès Eau de Parfum Intense
Created by Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel, Terre d’Hermès Eau de Parfum intense reveals a deeper, more intimate facet of the inner fire that animates the Earth and man.
The Olfactory Notes
Terre d’Hermès Eau de Parfum Intense is a deep, woody fragrance that combines fiery bergamot with burning wood and the mineral notes of intense lava stone.
The Object
The bottle, created by designer Philippe Mouquet, has a molten look; its lacquered sides are enveloped in a reddish-brown varnish that extends to cover the base with its emblematic H. The matte black metal cap is reminiscent of lava stone.
The Ethics
The 100ml and 50ml bottles can be replenished using the 200ml refill, sold separately, a gesture that is integral to an object created to last. The bottle is made from glass and aluminium – both noble materials and both mostly recyclable.
The Hermès Detail
Inspired by a bottle from a travel kit in the Émile Hermès collection, the Terre d’Hermès eau de parfum intense bottle features the House’s iconic Clou de Selle, reflective metallic shoulders and the H imprint on the base.
